After completing her studies and doctorate in Germany, Britta Redlich spent more than two decades researching and working in the Netherlands, where she most recently headed the FELIX free-electron laser and the HFML high-field magnet laboratory at Radboud University in Nijmegen. Among other things, she is a board member of the Dutch Physics Council, Senator of the Helmholtz Association for the Research Field Matter and a member of international consortia such as LEAPS, LaserLab Europe and FELs of Europe.
