I am a PhD student under InterCat performing experimental studies into the formation of complex molecules in the interstellar medium.

I attained a BSc in Nanoscience from Aarhus University in the summer of 2020, completing my BSc thesis within experimental surface science in the Nanocatalysis Group at iNANO under Associate Professor Jeppe Vang Lauritsen, and subsequently commenced my MSc studies. I joined InterCat as a PhD student in February 2021. During my studies, I have gained experience within a broad range of experimental and theoretical sciences, including materials science, surface science, and polymer chemistry, which I expect to apply in my PhD studies.

My PhD studies at InterCat will involve research into complex molecules in the interstellar medium, through experimental studies of their formation on the surface of interstellar dust grains mimics at cryogenic temperatures and ultra-high vacuum.
