Before starting my PhD, I was a bachelor student at the department of Physics and Astronomy at Aarhus University. I completed my bachelor's degree in the summer 2025 in InterCat under Liv Hornekær where I investigated the structure of mixed CO2 and H2O ice under low pressure and cryogenic temperatures using LT-STM. During my bachelor’s degree I specialized in astrophysics and cosmology with some additional theoretical courses.
During my PhD I will be aiming to investigate the structure of mixed ices at cryogenic temperatures and low pressure and investigate the influence on the IR spectra of each molecular species. This investigation will mainly be carried out by using low temperature scanning tunneling microscopy.
