I am a Ph.D. student under InterCat studying ice cluster formation, structure, and reactivity on silicate and carbonaceous surfaces at Aarhus University.

I completed my Master's degree in Physics at the University of Bergen under the supervision of Professor Bodil Holst. During my studies, I spent a year and a half as a visiting student in the Surface Dynamics group at Aarhus University supervised by Professor Liv Hornekær. My studies focused on the wetting and icing properties of graphene and oxidized graphene supported by Ir(111).

Research

I have experience in working with ultra-high vacuum (UHV) related experimental techniques, such as scanning tunneling microscopy (STM), x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), and temperature-programmed desorption (TPD). Additionally, I have experience in techniques running in ambient conditions such as Raman spectroscopy and contact angle measuring devices.

As a Ph.D. student under InterCat I will study ice formation on interstellar dust grains analog surfaces, specifically by looking at their structure and catalytic effect using STM and XPS.
