The James Webb MIRI instrument has taken its first sharp pictures
The James Webb space telescope arrived at its destination 1.5 million kilometers from earth in late January. Now the telescope is fully aligned and has sent the first sharp images of galaxies. Ewine van Dishoeck, who collaborated on the telescope's MIRI instrument, is very pleased with the results.
