Upcoming events for danish astronomers
The Annual Danish Astronomy Meeting (ADAM) is a central gathering for the Danish astronomy community, bringing together researchers and students from across the country. Participants include professors, associate professors, postdoctoral researchers, as well as PhD and MSc students.
IDA supports broad participation by covering the conference fee for MSc students and offering travel grants to PhD students.
The programme features presentations of current astrophysical research in Denmark alongside panel discussions that encourage dialogue on the future of Danish astronomy. The meeting also includes elections to the IDA Board, with representation from both students and staff.
A key highlight is the annual poster session, where early-career researchers showcase their latest scientific results and projects, fostering visibility, feedback, and networking within the community.
Please reserve the dates for the next Annual Danish Astronomy Meeting (ADAM), which will take place on Wednesday, 19 May – Thursday, 20 May 2027 at Comwell H.C. Andersen, Odense.
