In 1960 Freeman Dyson released an article wherein the concept of a Dyson Sphere was initially proposed. A Dyson Sphere is essentially a sphere of solar panels surrounding a star build by an alien civilization, its main feature would then be to supply the civilization with all the green energy that they would ever need. If these constructs exist, we would potentially be able to observe them, and how these Dyson Sphere - star systems distinguish themselves from lone stars is the topic of this presentation.

The idea of Dyson Spheres is fascinating and if observed would indicate other lifeforms throughout the universe. However, a further study into the impacts of the Dyson Sphere also reveals other applications that we could apply if we ever were to make such a construct ourselves. And so, this presentation not only explores how we distinguish these objects, but also dives deep into the star and investigates the changes the Dyson Sphere would have on the stars themselves.
