Signing of DISCO-2 order
The student satellite DISCO-2 is now one step further towards launch in Summer 2024. On 10 January 2023 the contract confirming the order was signed at the company Space Inventor in Aalborg.

DISCO-2 is a collaboration between the Danish universitites AU, AAU, ITU and SDU. The satellite is expected to be finished this September and it will be launched in a polar orbit during Summer 2024. Photography of especially areas in the Arctic, supporting research in climate changes is the main purpose.
DISCO-2 is a 10 x 10 x 30 cm cubesat.
