High Energy Wave Packets in Transition Radiation and Ionization Energy Losses Processes

The high energy produces stabilization action on electromagnetic wave packets. Such packets are naturally appeared in processes of radiation by relativistic electrons in matter and in ionization energy losses. Some results of manifestations of such wave packets in electromagnetic processes at high energies in matter are presented in this lecture. Processes of transition radiation and ionization energy losses by “half-bare” electrons are considered. The scattering and coherent radiation by high energy electrons and positrons in ultra thin crystals are also considered.
