He will work on the theoretical characterization of thermodynamic observables in out-of-equilibrium microscopic systems, both in the classical and quantum regime, in collaboration with the groups of M. Drewsen and A. Dantan.

He graduated from Yerevan State University in Yerevan, Armenia as a MSc in Theoretical Physics in 2010.

In 2012 he obtained his PhD under the supervision of Armen Allahverdyan in Yerevan Physics Institute, Armenia, with a thesis entitled "Fundamental quantum limits of cooling".

From 2012 he worked as postdoc with Antonio Acin at ICFO--The Institute of Photonic Sciences in Barcelona, Spain, on the merger of quantum information science and thermodynamics.
