Have you ever seen the northern lights? Would you like to?
Well, the conditions couldn't be better than they are right now - if you know what to look for, you might even catch it in the middle of Aarhus!Join us at Tir na nÓg, where professor in astrophysics Hans Kjeldsen sheds light on this wondrous phenomenon. Everyone is welcome - Hans has promised to get you up to speed with the underlying physics, give practical advice for observations as well as explain the unanswered scientific questions this celestial display continues to pose.Afterwards there will be an astro-themed quiz with plenty of astro-themed prizes for the winners. Finally there will be a spacenews segment, so that you can continue April month certain that that no important celestial events will pass you by!
The event takes place at The Backyard at Tir na nÓg. It is free and requires no reservation - but be sure to arrive early, as we have limited seating!

Astronomy on Tap (AoT) Aarhus is an outreach initiative with the goal of informing the public on topics related to astronomy and space research via accessible and engaging presentations in the relaxed and informal settings of a bar.
