The DIRAC initiative is established as a national consortium bringing together researchers and experts from a broad range of Danish institutions.

Aarhus University (AU) serves as the host institution for DIRAC.
The initiative is led by Ulrik I. Uggerhøj (AU), who is responsible for the day-to-day management and coordination of DIRAC in close collaboration with the work package leads.
DIRAC is funded by the Danish Agency for Science and Higher Education (Uddannelses- og Forskningsstyrelsen, UFS).
