The Aarhus Wind Tunnel I (AWTS I) is a smaller facility which also consists of a (approximately 1.2 m3) environmental chamber housing a recirculating wind tunnel. Key physical parameters can be recreated such as pressure (from 1 bar to 0.5mbar), gas composition, wind flow and some low temperature, importantly the suspension/transport and controlled deposition of dust.
