We are pleased to welcome Anne Andresen as our new Special Consultant in AI Development starting February 2026. Anne joins us as part of NAT’s new AI LAB, made possible through earmarked funding from the Danish Research Reserve. In this role, she will support the faculty’s growing need for advanced AI solutions – from idea development to prototyping and research‑driven collaborations.
As part of the faculty’s strategy, the AI LAB is organisationally placed within the Department of Physics and Astronomy.

Anne brings a research background in deep learning, computer vision, 3D vision, and medical imaging. She has an interest in developing, applying, and adapting advanced AI methods for scientific purposes, and in translating AI models into concrete research results.

In the NAT AI LAB, Anne will work closely with researchers across departments, including designing, developing, and validating advanced analytical and generative AI solutions for large research datasets, as well as developing prototypes.

If you are curious about how AI can be developed and applied in your own research – or would like to discuss methodological aspects of AI – you are very welcome to reach out to Anne or stop by her office in 1520‑626.
