I am a trained research technician at the Institute of Physics and Astronomy back in 1990-1993
after graduation I was a recruit in the military for 9 months. then I got a job again at the physical institute on a 2-year contract, then I joined a company that made ice machines for the industry. I was a service engineer for several years where I traveled around the world and installed ice machines and plants.
in 2004 I then returned to the Institute of Physics in a permanent position.
