Title: The CoRoT mission’s exoplanet program: Present results and legacy projects
Speaker: H. J. Deeg Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias (IAC), Spain
Location: 1525-323
Abstract:
The CoRoT space observatory was launched at the end of 2006 and delivered scientific data for nearly 6 years until an electronics failure in November 2012. I will given an overview over the mission and the treatment of its exoplanet observations, showing the most relevant results achieved among the over 30 planets that have been discovered. In a second part, some ongoing or planned projects to extend the legacy of the Corot mission are presented.
