Gesa Siemann earned her PhD from the University of St. Andrews in March 2024 in the research group of Phil King. During her PhD she used micro-ARPES to study the termination dependent surface electronic structure of delafossites, with an emphasis on their many-body interactions.
As a postdoc Gesa Siemann will use the micro-ARPES capabilities of SGM-4 in combination with time-resolved ARPES to study changes in the electronic structure on the surfaces of single crystals and devices.
