June 1 we welcome Christian Frydendahl to IFA as he joins Yong Chens group as a postdoc.

Christian Frydendahl will be joining Yong Chen’s group working on his own Villum Experiment grant: “LUMINA - Light-based Neuromodulation in Novel Material Artificial Neurons” funded via the Villum Foundation.
Christian completed his PhD at the Technical University of Denmark, followed by post-doctoral stays at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and the University of Southern Denmark. He has worked on several experimental topics within applied physics and optoelectronics, including plasmonics for light-matter interaction enhancement and photodetection, 2D material heterojunctions and device physics, and alternative computing architectures and nanophotonics.
