Jørgen Christensen-Dalsgaard to hold the Lodewijk Woltjer Lecture for the European Astronomical Society
Professor Emeritus Jørgen Christensen-Dalsgaard has been appointed by the European Astronomical Society to hold the Lodewijk Woltjer Lecture in connection to the annual EAS conference, to take place this year in Cork, Ireland in June.
This honour is shown to Jørgen for his pioneering work and impact in the fields of helio- and asteroseismology. The lecture lasting 20 minutes is to be held during the conference.
