Jørgen Christensen-Dalsgaard receives the Crafoord Prize 2024
The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences has just announced this year's winners of the Crafoord Prize. In astronomy, Jørgen Christensen-Dalsgaard is one of three recipients.
The three recipients of astronomy received the prize for their work in making it possible to see into the Sun and other stars using a technique known as asteroseismology.
This year, the prize is worth SEK six million for sharing, and the award ceremony takes place in Lund and Stockholm from 13 to 16. May 2024.
The Crafoord award is a partnership between the Crafoord Foundation and The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences and supports scientific research and awards annual prizes within mathematics and astronomy, geoscience, bioscience and arthritis research.
