Members of the the ion trap group led by professor Michael Drewsen, Department of Physics and Astronomy, Aarhus University, are the first to successfully use laser light to cool and slow the rotation of molecules. The results were published in Nature Physics on 7 March 2010. The group members on the article are Peter F. Staanum, Peter S. Skyt, Anders K. Hansen and Michael Drewsen.
