Joining CCQ on 15 August, Mogens Dalgaard will start as postdoc in Klaus Mølmer's group. Mogens has worked as a PhD student, under the supervision of Jacob Sherson, with quantum control theory, quantum measurement theory, and quantum simulations. In addition, part of his research includes incorporating state-of-the-art machine learning methods into quantum physics for applications in quantum control and simulations. His new position will include studying rare-earth ions with potential applications in quantum computing and information processing. As he excitingly says: “I am always looking forward to facing new challenges and come up with new ideas.”
