Šimon Bräuer is visiting our center from 1. February 2022 - 30 April 2022. 

Šimon is a PhD student at the Department of Optics at Faculty of Science, Palacký University Olomouc currently an intern in Prof. Mølmer’s group under the Mobility Support Scheme at Palacký University.

His doctoral research focuses on Quantum Information Theory. He closely collaborates with Prof. Opatrný in research dealing with cubic operation in collective spins. With Associate Prof. Marek, he also worked on Generation of quantum states with non-linear squeezing by Kerr non-linearity. He collaborated with Prof. Kurizki on non-linear interferometry enabling coherent heat machine operation.

During his internship at the Center for Complex Quantum Systems he will be working on physics of pulses in Prof. Mølmer’s group.
