Although the analysis of data from the nominal Kepler mission is far from completed, with many more exciting results expected, we also need to look ahead towards the K2 extension of Kepler and the preparation for TESS asteroseismology. As in previous years the workshop will cover new results from the analysis of Kepler data, considering also the development of analysis techniques required to exploit them to their full potential. In addition we shall consider the early results of K2, including also procedures for basic photometric analysis based on the raw pixel data and the target potential in the upcoming fields. As indicated by the name, the workshop provides an opportunity for a first general discussion of the activities of the TESS Asteroseismic Science Consortium (TASC), with important issues being the organization of TASC and the definition of procedures for selection of TESS asteroseismic targets. It would also be relevant to have an initial discussion of the planning of PLATO asteroseismology.
