Students attempt to observe with SONG from Aarhus
The winners of the first SONG competition for Danish upper secondary level students, the Astronomy C group from Varde Gymnasium og HF visited the Ole Rømer-Observatory in Aarhus on Tuesdag 22 November 2016 hoping to do their remote observations with the Tenerife-based telescope.
Bad weather on the mountain prevented this, but the group worked with pre-recorded data and still had a very fine evening, guided by SAC's Mads Fredslund Andersen. More about the visit (in Danish) on the SONG webpages.
