SAC'ies help TESS on its way

The new planet hunter TESS is on its way to it's final orbit. The launch was attended by 3 researchers from SAC Aarhus.

TESS is being deployed after a successfull insertion into the orbit towards the Moon.

Hans Kjeldsen, Mikkel Lund and Rasmus Handberg attended the launch of TESS on 18 April 2018, together with Lars Buchhave from the DTU exoplanet group. Hans' report from the launch has been published by Videnskab.dk in Danish.

Out for launch on a happy day in the Florida sun.
