Stellar physics has many applications and here I present a number of examples related to formation of planets, supernovae, X-ray binaries as well as continuous and transient gravitational wave sources.
I discuss a mixture of topics from Kippenhahn diagrams to the merger-rate density of binary neutron stars and black holes in the local Universe.
I will be moving to Aarhus University this summer and with this talk I hope to stimulate ideas for future collaborations.
