Dear SAC members,

We would like to remind you that the 5th SAC Scientific Retreat will take place from January the 16th to the 19th, 2017 in Sandbjerg. Last year the emphasis was put on building the scientific basis for the application for the extension of SAC. This year, we will be at the midterm of the whole 10 year period of SAC, if the extension is successful. The focus will be put on defining the specific actions to conduct in order to achieve the scientific goals set in the application, with an emphasis on our involvement in SONG and TESS.

This will be achieved through scientific talks, splinter sessions and workshops. We will request individual contribution(s) separately. After the success of last year, we will also include a poster session. We ask each member, including the non-scientific staff, to bring a poster: what would you like to share with SAC? This should be scientific results or specific projects, as well as other topics which fall under SAC's missions, such as working environment, teaching or outreach.

It is expected that all SAC members, from MSc level onwards, take part in the retreat. A webshop has been set up in order for you to register.
