K2 Workshop on Data Analysis 2014

The Stellar Astrophysics Centre (SAC) is happy to announce the First Workshop on K2 data analysis for asteroseismology, to be held at Aarhus university, Denmark, on the 10-11th November 2014.

The aim of this meeting is to discuss the overall KASC strategy for providing the data products needed for asteroseismic analysis of all types of pulsating stars in the K2 fields of observation. Requirements of man- and computer power will be addressed, as well as assessment of the existing software capabilities and needs for developing new tools to extract the desired data products.

As part of the upcoming workshop, we would like the participants to produce some light-curves from the raw data in preparation for the meeting. We have selected a number of targets observed during campaign 0 for this purpose, and you can find the prioritized list and data in the following link:

We aim at participants having analyzed as many as possible prior to the workshop. Information on how to attend the meeting remotely can be found here.

Any inquires about the logistics of the meeting should be addressed to Louise Børsen-Koch - louise@phys.au.dk
