AU-SAT Workshop 2015

The development of satellite technology during the past years has made it possible to build and launch reliable and relatively cost-efficient nano satellites with a payload focusing on research. Aarhus University has for years participated in the development of scientific projects around major scientific space missions in the framework of NASA, ESA and CNES. We have now started the process of identifying the research potential and studying the possibility for Aarhus University to design and launch a nano satellite focusing mainly on astronomy, but also on physics, geoscience and engineering.

We would like to invite interested participants to a 1-day workshop 30 November, focusing on identifying science ideas related to the payload of this project. If you intend to give a presentation, please send in a very short abstract to Victoria Antoci <antoci_at_ <a href="http://phys.au.dk" data-htmlarea-external="1">phys.au.dk>.

We will send out information on the boundary conditions dictated by the size and design of the platform, possible orbits and any other technical requirements latest by November 11th.
