Group and supervision
Since arriving in Aarhus in 2012, I have supervised postdoctoral researchers, PhD students, Master's students, and Bachelor's thesis projects in supernova physics, transient astronomy, and observational cosmology.
Recent CV material lists supervision of 7 postdocs, 2 PhDs, 6 Master’s thesis projects, and 10 Bachelor thesis projects during 2012–2025. The group collaborates broadly through NUTS, POISE, FLOWS, the Carnegie Supernova Project, and related transient-survey efforts.
Major collaboration areas
- FLOWS: local peculiar velocities, near-infrared Type Ia supernovae, and nearby large-scale structure
- NUTS and rapid follow-up of nearby transients
- Supernova modelling, radiative transfer, JWST observations, and circumstellar-material diagnostics
- Photometric calibration and data products for the supernova community
