New postdoc: Albert Bruix Fusté

Albert Bruix will join the group of Bjørk Hammer

Albert Bruix joined the Theoretical Surface Science group of Prof. Bjørk Hammer as a Marie Curie Postdoctoral Fellow on March 1st, 2014. Albert was recently awarded the PhD degree from the University of Barcelona (February, 2014) for his studies on the electronic structure of systems based on Pt and CeO2, focusing on how metal-support interactions affect the properties of Water-gas shift and fuel cell catalysts. His main project at Aarhus University deals with the computational modeling of supported MoSx clusters, which could lead to the rational improvement of desulphurization catalysts based on these materials.
