The 1998 STACC campaign on the roAp star HR 1217

Late 1998 the very interesting roAp star HR 1217 was monitored for two weeks from three sites, Mount Stromlo, Sutherland and La Silla using medium resolution spectrographs.

The 1998 STACC campaign on Praesepe

This campaign on the Praesepe variables BN Cnc and BV Cnc is described here in a postscipt file. In another postscript file some earlier measurements (Feb. 1997) of BN Cnc and BV Cnc are described, where it is established clearly, that BV Cnc is, as well as BN Cnc, a multiperiodic pulsator.

The progress of the campaign is presented in the pages STACC 98.

You may have a look at the status for the participating sites/observers.

The NGC 6134 project

We have a target in the southern sky NGC 6134, where extensive observations have been made for the evolutionary tests. The first campaign took place in 1994 from two sites: La Silla and Sutherland.

NGC 1817 and northern clusters

In the northern sky, the clusters -- with a rich population of known delta Scuti stars -- are very close and the variables are spread over a large field of view (Praesepe, Hyades).

A description of the strategy to implement to detect more clusters of this type is found in the paper, and a book of possible target has been produced with all the information needed to start observing and is available from the group. To order material press here.

An example of a Colour Magnitude diagram obtained during this initiative is given as a postscript file.

An example of some light curves obtained are shown for the cluster NGC 7245.
