New postdoc: Mark Hugo Stockett

Mark Hugo Stockett joined the group of Steen Brøndsted Nielsen on 1 December 2014 as a postdoctoral researcher with financial support from Villumfonden.

Mark Hugo Stockett joined the group of Steen Brøndsted Nielsen on 1 December 2014 as a postdoctoral researcher with financial support from Villumfonden.  Mark will oversee the construction of a new apparatus for measuring laser-induced fluorescence of complex gas phase ions while contributing to the group's ongoing activities in the field of action spectroscopy of biochromophores.  He was previously a postdoc at Stockholm University under the supervision of Henrik Cederquist, focusing on atom-molecule collisions as well as other experiments at the DESIREE facility.  In December 2011, Mark earned his PhD at the University of Wisconsin, where he specialized in absorption spectroscopy utilizing synchrotron radiation.
