Michael Drewsen elected a Fellow of the American Physical Society

Michael Drewsen has by the APS upon recommendations from the Division of AMO Physics, been elected a Fellow of the American Physical Society.

Michael Drewsen has by the APS Council of Representatives, upon recommendations from the Division of Atomic, Molecular and Optical Physics, been elected a Fellow of the American Physical Society. A very honorable title limited to no more than one half of one percent of the membership. Michael was elected based on his outstanding contributions to physics, and in particular

“For pioneering experiments with trapped ion Coulomb crystals in linear Paul traps and the demonstration of collective strong coupling with optical cavities.”
