<p>Graphen er siden det blev isoleret første gang i 2004 blevet udråbt som vidundermateriale indenfor elektronik, coatings, kompositter og senest også fotonik. I mit foredrag fortæller jeg hvordan vi her i Århus bidrager til den internationale graphen forskningen – og hvordan vi prøver at finde ud af&nbsp; hvad graphen faktisk kan bruges til. Jeg vil også fortælle om hvordan vores forskning har vist at nano-graphen (PAH’er) kan agere som katalysatorr for dannelsen af nye molekyler i det interstellare medium, området mellem stjernerne.</p>
