The seminar will provide a forum for discussion amongst researchers working on Danish history of science with a focus on the field’s methodological and empirical possibilites. The aim is to foster dialogue and collaboration across projects and disciplines to develop and consolidate new research on the history of science in Denmark.</p>
<p>Historian of science Helge Kragh, professor emeritus at the Niels Bohr Institute, will deliver the lecture: "<strong>The Language of Science: A Historiographical Approach."</strong> followed by discussion.</p>
<p><strong>Call for working papers.</strong> After the lecture the research groups invite researchers at any career stage to contribute short working papers: project descriptions, article drafts etc. <strong>(max. length of 2 pages)</strong>. The 3 hour discussion of working papers will be a joint discussion of participant’s projects.</p>
<h3><strong>Programme</strong></h3>
<p>10.30 am – 12.00 pm: Lecture by Helge Kragh: “The Language of Science: A Historiographical Approach”.<br>12.00 pm – 01.00 pm: Lunch.<br>01.00 pm – 04.00 pm: Joint discussion of working papers.</p>
