<p><strong>Abstract:</strong>
</p>
<p> There exist many new phenomena when atoms are exposed in strong laser fields. Experimental and theoretical investigations have been carried out to understand these highly nonlinear processes, and to unitize them to watch and control the electronic dynamics on its natural spatial and temporal time scale. In this talk, I will briefly introduce the essential background and discuss our recent progresses in the theoretical exploration, including the topics such as the below-threshold harmonic generation, the nonadiabatic tunneling ionization, and the electron correlation in double ionization of Helium.
