Francesco Cappelluti is our new postdoctoral fellow in the group of Prof. Bjørk Hammer.

Francesco will work on the application of machine learning techniques to solid-state and molecular systems.

Prior to joining Aarhus University, Francesco obtained a Bachelor (BSc, 2015) and Master (MSc, 2017) degree in Chemistry from "La Sapienza" University of Rome, Italy, and did his PhD at the University of L'Aquila, Italy.

While during his Bachelor degree he focused on the application of electronic structure calculations to molecular liquids, his Master degree and PhD work was concentrated on the development of new theoretical methods, both in the field of DFT and molecular dynamics."
