Martha Scheffler joined the group of Liv Hornekær on 1 September as a postdoctoral researcher.

She will focus her research on the development of new methods for synthesizing and characterizing high quality, single layer graphene coatings on metal, as well as SiC, nanoparticles.

The work will be carried out in close collaboration with the Surface Dynamics Group at Department of Physics and the Interdisciplinary Nanoscience Center (iNANO).

Martha has previously worked in the group of Christian Hess/Bernd Buechner at the  IFW Dresden, where she earned her doctoral degree doing Scanning tunneling microscopic and spectroscopic investigations on hydrogenated graphene, iron pnictide superconductors and magnetic thin films.
