Fabian Maucher is a new postdoc in Thomas Pohl's group with interest in nonlinear physics, such as Bose-Einstein condensates, nonlinear optics and pattern formation in excitable media.

Fabian did his PhD at the Max-Planck Institute for the Physics of Complex Systems in Dresden, Germany, and after that worked at Durham University, UK as Postdoc. Apart from physics he likes playing classical guitar, football and foosball (you can likely meet him at the foosball table during the Fredagsbar).

Fabian has received employment as postdoc from 1 October 2018 – 30 September 2019.
