Mohammad Khazali has joined the group of Professor Thomas Pohl as a postdoctoral researcher on 2 February 2017.

Mohammad Khazali has joined the group of Professor Thomas Pohl as a postdoctoral researcher on 2 February 2017.

He will work on the theoretical AMO projects that are based on the strong, long-range interactions between the so-called Rydberg atoms that are excited to high principal quantum numbers.

Mohammad received his PhD in Physics in 2016 from the “Institute of Quantum Science and Technology” in Calgary, Canada. He has studied the applications of Rydberg physics in several photonic quantum information projects as well as proposals for many-body entangled state generations with applications in metrology and the study of fundamental physics.
