Miguel Bastarrachea is a new postdoc in the group of Georg Bruun. His research interests cover quantum optics, quantum phase transitions, quantum dynamics and correlations in many-body quantum systems. 

  Miguel got his PhD in Physics and a Bachelor in Philosophy from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) in 2016. Afterwards, he worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg, Germany, before coming to Aarhus in 2019.
