Ny postdoc: Elisabeth Gruber

We welcome Elisabeth Gruber who joined the group of Lars Andersen on 1st September 2017 as a postdoctoral researcher

Elisabeth Gruber joined the group of Lars Henrik Andersen as a postdoctoral researcher on 1 September 2017.

She will contribute to the development of new fs pump-probe schemes in combination with ion-storage rings. Under a ‘Villum Experiment’ grant, her experimental investigations will focus on how the quantum nature of bio-chromophores influences the very specific photo-physical properties of proteins containing these bio-chromophores.

She graduated from TU Wien, Vienna as a MSc in Technical Physics in 2012. In 2017 she obtained her PhD under the supervision of Friedrich Aumayr at the Institute of Applied Physics, TU Wien with the thesis entitled “Interaction of ions with 3D and 2D materials”.
